Table Mountain, Cape Town has made it into the provisional new 7 wonders of the natural world.

The only natural formation to have a constellation named after it, Table Mountain is as unique as it is beautiful.

The flat-topped mountain has withstood six million years of erosion and hosts the richest, yet smallest floral kingdom on earth with over 1,470 floral species. Table Mountain boasts numerous rare and endangered species that some of which cant be found anywhere else on earth.

Towering majestically over the city of Cape Town, this natural landmark contributes immensely to the immediate climate, and draws in many tourists each year meaning it has a daily effect on many of cape towns residents.
